I recently made some shortbread with my grand-daughters Marigold and Winnifred Rose. This was a ritual that i enjoyed many moons ago with my youngest son, and it was so nice to revisit this 25 years later.
With little helpers under 5, we made the recipe a lot simpler, and it is the best shortbread ever.
It's just 3 ingredients, so you can get down to business and get your hands dirty.
The result is a delicious treat that are wonderful with a cup of tea while resting in the midst of the seasonal rush, or as gifts to share. Either way, enjoy!
