The Secret to Aging Backwards

Ageless Grace: A Timeless Guide to Health and Vitality

“It’s never too late to start your journey to a healthier, happier you.”

People often express surprise when they learn my age. At 70, I’m frequently complimented on my youthful appearance and vitality. But this isn’t a recent development; it’s the result of a lifetime of healthy habits.

The Power of Consistency

The beauty of health and wellness is that it’s a journey, not a destination. Whether you’re 20 or 70, you can make positive changes that will benefit your overall well-being. It’s never too late to start.

A Lifetime Commitment to Wellness

My approach to health has always been holistic and flexible. It’s not about strict diets or rigid routines. Instead, it's about finding a balance that works for me.

Over the years, I've experimented with various practices, such as:

  • Periodic Fasting: I’ve incorporated periods of fasting, often 24-36 hours, into my routine. This has helped me maintain a healthy weight & mind and improve my overall well-being.

  • Raw Food Diets: While not a permanent lifestyle choice, incorporating raw foods into my diet, especially for extended periods, has provided numerous health benefits including dealing with depression over time.

  • Consistent Clean Eating: A foundation of whole, unprocessed foods has been a constant throughout my life. This doesn’t mean I’ve deprived myself of pleasure. Occasional indulgences like hot chips, ice cream, croissants, champagne, and wine have always been part of my enjoyment of life.

A Well-Rounded Approach to Lifelong Health

In addition to my dietary practices, I’ve always prioritized physical activity. I’ve found that keeping my body moving is essential for both physical and mental health. I enjoy a variety of activities, including:

  • Walking

  • Weightlifting

  • Yoga

  • Pilates

I also believe that a strong mind is just as important as a strong body. I’ve always been curious and love to learn new things. I’ve found that staying mentally active can help to keep the mind sharp and reduce the risk of cognitive decline.
